Apple is roughly one month away from its major September 2026 product event, and a new report says the company could use the presentation to unveil eight products spanning the iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV and smart-home categories.
9to5Mac, citing Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter for Bloomberg, reports that the centerpiece is expected to be Apple’s first foldable iPhone, referred to in the report as iPhone Ultra. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are also expected, alongside Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.
Eight Products Expected at Apple’s September Event
Based on Gurman’s expectations, the eight products likely to be unveiled are iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Ultra, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, a new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini 2, and Apple’s first smart-home hub, which has been referred to as HomePad or HomePod Touch.
The new Apple TV set-top box and HomePod mini are reportedly on track to be ready this fall, making a September introduction plausible. Apple’s first smart-home hub is currently expected to ship sometime between October and early next year, so Apple could preview it at the September event even if it does not become available immediately.
Apple’s Smart-Home Push Could Share the iPhone Spotlight
The reported lineup would fit Apple’s established pattern of introducing new flagship iPhone and Apple Watch models together in September. Adding new Home products would also give Apple its largest annual product event as a stage for a broader smart-home strategy, while devices such as HomePod and Apple TV naturally sit alongside the iPhone ecosystem.
Gurman also expects a redesigned iPad mini this fall, but places that device among products more likely to arrive in October, alongside the M6 MacBook Pro. That means it is not included in the eight-product September list.

Other Rumored Apple Products Are Not on the List
The report does not include camera-equipped AirPods, a third-generation full-size HomePod, or an Apple security camera in the expected September lineup. Gurman has previously reported on all three products, meaning they remain part of Apple’s broader rumored hardware road map even though they are not currently among the eight products highlighted for the September event.
